Taylor’s passion for swimming and water safety is both professional and personal. Before becoming certified, Taylor experienced the Swim Life program firsthand as a parent. Our Swim Programs
for Little Ones

Survival & Toddler Swim Lessons

If your baby can sit independently, Swim Life with Coach Taylor introduces them to the basics of swimming in a fun, safe way. Babies learn to briefly swim face down, roll onto their back to float and breathe, and move toward safety—all under close guidance.

Parents are invited into the water once a week to practice alongside their little ones. Babies love the shared experience of splashing, floating, and learning with mom and dad right there, creating strong bonds and positive water memories.

As skills develop, students progress to floating and swimming fully clothed, reinforcing essential water safety habits. These exercises build confidence, independence, and readiness for a variety of water environments—setting the foundation for a lifetime of safe, joyful swimming.

Toddler Swim Foundations

At Swim Life with Coach Taylor, students first learn to swim and float independently—the skills that can save a life. Once comfortable, they progress to jumping, diving, snorkeling, and more.

Parents join weekly to practice and learn family water safety—kids love showing off what they’ve learned!

Lessons are fun but safety-focused: students practice fully clothed and with siblings or relatives, making water safety a family affair.

As skills grow, kids can continue with Skill Progression and Swim FUNdamentals, building stroke technique, confidence, and a lifelong love of swimming.

ABOUT Swim Life

— Courtney M. Swim Life® Parent.

Taylor has given lessons to my 4 year old and my 16 month old and we are very happy with their progress. We took lessons last summer at a more traditional swim school and I didn't feel like the kids really learned any techniques around water safety or survival. This fall we opted to put them in a session with Taylor and I was shocked at how fast they both learned to float. As a parent - I won't lie - those first few lessons can be tough. But it's so important and well worth a few hard lessons.

I can’t recommend Taylor enough for swim lessons! She taught my daughter survival swimming, and I am absolutely amazed at how fast she learned and how confident she has become in the water. I give her a 10/10 and will definitely continue going to her for future lessons!
